I think we've all done it at some point or another... Decided its time to get fit and joined a gym with the best intentions...then pounded away at any exercise machine that we saw the other guy or girl on before us...its like the blind leading (or misleading!) the blind Before we know it, we've got nowhere near the results we thought we'd get and whats worse, we've wasted quite a lot of time and have got nowhere.

Does this sound like you? I was certainly guilty of this in a previous life!
Truth is, without the correct exercises, nutrition, rest period, specificity and numerous other varibles, you are unlikley to get the results you want and sometimes, can reverse effects and end up doing yourself more harm than good
